00AccordLX5spd 09-04-2007, 09:40 AM I'm from Mississippi. I think I may be the only one on the forum. Possibly the only state that could be considered worse is Alabama[:'(]
honda97valdeez 09-04-2007, 07:48 PM I agree 100% Alabama totally sucks.
I am born and raised from Memphis TN, now floridian.

00AccordLX5spd 09-05-2007, 09:03 AM I live in Brandon, MS right now. I work in Jackson. I was actually born in Memphis, TN as well, but my family moved to Mississippi when I was 2 or 3. I went to Ole Miss. HOTTY TODDY!!
honda97valdeez 09-05-2007, 12:24 PM Love the ole miss hotties too!
Some of my friends from CBHS went to Ole Miss-and lived in Holly Springs also.
For a short time I lived in Red Banks(HooWee!) but the commute killed that place for me.

honda97valdeez 09-08-2007, 03:41 PM GO BROTHERS!
Yes Christian Brothers. Too bad for me they didn't have that sweet stadium when I attended. A classmate of mine lived in holly springs and commuted everyday-brutal. I left memphis when I got sticker shock on tax/muni services courtesy Dr. Willie[:@] I hate annexation.
how's the kid/wife?

00AccordLX5spd 09-10-2007, 09:26 AM The reason I asked about Christian Brothers is I had a few guys in my fraternity in college who graduated from there.
My wife's doin good, the baby should be here in a few months (due date November 16, but hopefully she'll come out sooner!)
penny8241 02-22-2008, 04:30 PM im from Picayune, MS
botaine 03-18-2008, 11:07 PM I live in Brandon, MS. what do you know, small world
00AccordLX5spd 03-19-2008, 08:37 AM Wow....I never expected that. We're in the same town. Judging from your ZIP code you are on the Reservoir side. I live in Bay Pointe.
botaine 03-19-2008, 05:54 PM Yep, I live in Buckingham. I drive past Bay Pointe just about everyday. We are only 2 miles away from each other
falkore24 03-20-2008, 08:52 AM Botaine: How have you never heard of 00?!? He's that insurance guy with his hairy crack hanging out all over the place! I'd imagine that would have been on the evening news down there! What else do they have to talk about! ..... oh yeah .... forgot, that would involve having TV's .... j/k
00AccordLX5spd 03-20-2008, 10:24 AM Yeah my crack is hairy to protect my butt from the cold when I have to walk to the outhouse on cold mornings.
Most people ride horses here too. Only rich people drive cars. And our roads are all made of dirt. Hopefully we will get asphalt roadssoon.

Dang that's crazy! Well if we ever have any car problems we could help each other now that we know we are so close.
holly1228 03-20-2008, 02:02 PM i used to live in union. ever seen it on a map? i haven't.
00AccordLX5spd 03-20-2008, 02:18 PM Haha I just looked on my map and found it. I never knew we had a Little Rock in Mississippi. It's near Union.
holly1228 03-20-2008, 04:15 PM Around 45 min-1 hr to Brandon? Is that right? It's been a few years since I was out that way..
00AccordLX5spd 03-20-2008, 04:20 PM Unless you drive fast or know a backroad short cut without getting on I-20, it looks like it would take about 1 hour and 15 to 1 hour and a half

yeah that sounds good. feel free to let me know if you need a hand with something. I'm mostly still learning about how to work on cars though.
