View Full Version : PICS! Accord and M3
smaglik 09-10-2007, 01:22 PM So I had last Saturday completely free...It will probably never happen again. So I did some Fall cleaning. I washed the accord, and washed, clayed, and waxed the M3. Here are some shots of them in front on my place in Flagstaff.

00AccordLX5spd 09-10-2007, 01:28 PM So, I remember you saying you were able to purchase the M3 from "bowling." And I see the tag reflects the same. Want to let us in on how bowling allowed you to own such an awesome machine? Are you a pro bowler or something?
smaglik 09-10-2007, 01:34 PM Eh, kinda, but not really. Bowlint is weird in that you are not professional unless you are a member of the PBA. You can make money bowling and you are called amateur, unless you join the PBA. I bowled amateur events around tehcountry for about 3 yrs (last year of grad school, and during my 2 yr post-doc). I did fairly well during that period.
falkore24 09-10-2007, 02:02 PM LOL @ "fairly well"
00AccordLX5spd 09-10-2007, 02:12 PM Did you see a lot of mullets, beer guts, and mustaches while you were on your bowling adventure? I thought it was a requirement to be good at bowling and have at least one of those. Obviously the best bowlers will have all 3!
smaglik 09-10-2007, 02:28 PM i saw my share...I dont suffer from those...
Actually, on the competitive levels, you still have your slobs, tanks, and fatasses, but really not that much...
00AccordLX5spd 09-10-2007, 02:31 PM Haha! I figured that. I'm just speaking of what I've seen in bowling competitions on TV!
honda97valdeez 09-10-2007, 06:58 PM Bowl Me, is that like Fist Me?
HOT KARL!!!;)
;)
live2rice 09-10-2007, 07:08 PM kinda like my idea for the license plate "run me" thats what i'm going to put on my 1600hp Skyline lol
honda97valdeez 09-10-2007, 07:39 PM Just kiddin'!
Man, that is a nice beemer!
Take Pimp for a ride.
smaglik 09-10-2007, 08:39 PM fisting? is that an 'after-church' activity in key west? haha
honda97valdeez 09-10-2007, 10:32 PM What's "Church"?

Hey what's the % on the accord's tint? I like the white on black look.
accords own 09-10-2007, 11:20 PM i believe BMW cars are called bimmers and the motorcycles are called beamers. you got a set of some nice lookin cars right there! btw, my high score bowling is 156...have you ever bowled a 300?
honda97valdeez 09-10-2007, 11:59 PM Must be the miami influence "si mon, Bee-mer":D

finch13 09-11-2007, 03:03 PM I am looking at these pics in my Comparative Governments class and the M3 made me skeet a little. They never actually look like an M3 in pictures; they appear as a 3 series until you see the badge. But seeing them in person is amazing and they scream "I'll kick your*POOPER* to any other car on the road.
That looks a bit Better:
smaglik 09-11-2007, 03:08 PM What does skeet mean? Is that like a semi? I've only heard in in that hip hop song...damn, I sound old.
finch13 09-11-2007, 07:03 PM Haha. Skeet = Semen
honda97valdeez 09-11-2007, 08:00 PM See also Dave Chapelle's skit "p**s on you"- the allusion is made literal.
In the south, outside hiphop slang, "skeet" is what you do with your shotgun when you aren't using it for actual killing.
finch13 09-12-2007, 12:07 AM Yep, skeet and trap, I've done plenty of it.
stevent 09-12-2007, 01:07 AM at first glance i thought your plate on the m3 said "bone me" haha
honda97valdeez 09-12-2007, 01:34 PM Smaglik, it looks like the bmw gets an A for creating so much envious outlashing.
smaglik 09-12-2007, 01:50 PM thanks for the kind words. hopefully it wont be struck by a stray moneyshot.
honda97valdeez 09-12-2007, 01:56 PM It'd prolly bead up and slide off!!!! The clay and wax is sweet.
Jack_N_Coke 09-24-2007, 11:17 PM M3 pics? Not hating, but I thought this was a Honda Accord forum...?
00AccordLX5spd 09-24-2007, 11:34 PM smaglik used to show off his M3 so all the Accord guys would drool. But as you see, he's sold it now and got a V6 6speed Accord.
smaglik 09-25-2007, 01:53 PM show off? haha...how many pics have i posted of it?
nicokpe 10-21-2007, 10:29 PM well nice picture ;)
smaglik 10-22-2007, 12:13 AM unfortunately the M3 now belongs to a guy in phoenix.
WheelBrokerAng 10-22-2007, 01:34 AM Time for you to bowl more frames and get yourself another one again:

superballz00 10-22-2007, 01:49 AM The 08 M3 will have a V8 that puts out 420hp. That might keep you from parting with it in the future.
smaglik 10-22-2007, 12:21 PM yeah...we'll see though...those are really going to go for a lot...a few years down the road possibly...
falkore24 10-22-2007, 12:27 PM and then you have even more depreciation ..... the reason you got rid of the one that you had!
smaglik 10-22-2007, 12:29 PM exactly.
I will likely but another E46 M3 in a couple of years...when I can get an 04-06 with moderate miles for 20 or so.
Turboduck 10-22-2007, 06:48 PM Interesting career ... nice M3 and clean Accord :)
smaglik 10-22-2007, 11:23 PM danke.
that accord is gone now. to a better place.
wisconsin, to be exact.
superballz00 10-23-2007, 02:12 AM OMG when did you sell your accord? Thought you brought it with you with the move.
smaglik 10-23-2007, 09:46 AM saturday. i met my dad in denver. i now own his passport. 4x4.
LOLocaust 10-04-2008, 10:39 PM that M3 is pretty nice but the tires look to be pretty skinny
smaglik 10-05-2008, 11:55 PM back from the dead!
the tires were stock. some guys put wider tires on it, i dont see a point. i never knew how to really drive the car, and they were already expensive enough as it was.
19Accord97 10-06-2008, 12:05 AM Woah! He does still exist!
Welcome back!
falkore24 10-06-2008, 09:08 AM Dang!!!! This thread was only dead for a year!!!! Welcome back Ed!!!
