Just bought a used 2004 Honda Accord LX with 33K miles. Personally, I love the car.http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif Its definitely a step up from my 99 Camry. I get good gas mileage (around 26-30 mpg in the city http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif) and the car drives smooth. I'm still getting used to it and I cant wait to add tint and a few other things to it.

Now to the problems.

I've noticed a few issues with the car. Here's the list:

1) Engine Vibration when idling in "Park" ( Sometimes when in "Drive" ...like at a signal light)

2) Brake noise....not squeaking....its some weird noise that i cant get my head around

3) Car pulls to the right...i've checked tire pressure and its alligned

Luckily, I still have the factory warranty on the car, so thats a big relief.

Now....from what I have dug up on this forum and on the net, all these issues have a TSB. My question is (at least for the brake problem), will the dealership replace whatever that needs to be replaced (brake pads, rotors, etc) since there is a TSB for it? I know the parts warranty has expired...would that affect this situation in any way?

I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to get all these looked at. Any advice before going in?

Its under warranty, but the parts warranty has expired. Explain?

1. Where do you feel the vibration? Possibly an engine mount, but the car is fairly new.
2. You need to give a little more info on that. If its not squeaking, what does it sound like?
3. How bad is the pull? Car will always drift a bit to the right. Crown of the road. COuld be a bad tire. Have you swapped tires l-r in front?

Drive the cold car around the block, do not use the brake pedal, use the hand or e-brake to stop, get out and CAREFULLY touch the front rotors and see if one of them is hot or much warmer than the other side, this will be a brake drag causing your brake noise and the pull to one side, let hope this is it or you may be in for some long term guess work on these two issues. Does this car still use the rear engine mount that is vacuum controlled, the dealers scanner should say if it is on or off, but it wont tell you if it is weak, this is a possibility for the idle problem beyond the cleaning mentioned or tuneup.

Also, print out all the tsb's and take them with you to the dealership.

Vibration - mine does it too.. just minor vibrations and not too big of a deal. I'm guessing fuel injected cleaner, change plugs/distributor rotor cap etc would help.
break noise - could be the metal brackets that hold the brake pads, they sometime scratch the rotors ..etc. Some Honda like to do that, at least the one's that i've owned. Even on new pads.
pulling to the right - check to see if there is uneven wear on the tires, both sides. Also you may want to see if there is any damage on the arm that holds the wheel. I forgot what that's called.
