Name’s Robby, 24, proud parent/family guy and just recently discharged from the marines. I bought my car brand new off the lot in 2001 (2002 Accord Coupe EX) with no intentions to modify it. I let my ex drive my car one day, and you know how that goes... lol... she wrecked the whole front end, and that set off a new beginning to fix my ride. Considering my car is a 4-banger, I would do a few engine mods but concentrate more on getting my ride to SHOW status.

Since then, I’ve went through numerous kits and wheels to get my car to stand out from the rest. Military obligations and family life made it a little hard to work on my ride, but 4 years later I was able to get my ride where I want it to be. My military service just recently ended so that gives me more time to work on my ride. Plus I just recently joined Team Showcase so I’m ready to take my ride to the next level and do big things with the team. My car is an endless project, always adding new things.

I’ve got a lot planned for my ride for new year so stay tuned... much respect to all the daily driven show cars out there, plus I live in an apartment so no garage for me.. LOL... with all that said here are my mods and pic’s... enjoy...

considering he spent $80 on a nonperformance part as that Mugen oil cap, you could say he spent way too much money to make the car "look good". i think it's ugly as hell and stands out in a bad way. thats the kind of car i would love to get next to at a stop light. with all the money he threw into "pimping his ride", he could have made it much faster and a lot more fun. hey, with everyone kissin his butt, i thought i'd give some balance. seriously though, all show and no go makes Jack a dull boy. just my personal mentality.

So that thing is an automatic right? But he put that shift boot kit to make it look like a manual? That's kinda weird.

Velocifero, a few questions:

1. What's the difference between the JDM SiR tach, bezel, and cover you have? Looks OEM to me...

2. How did you remove the OE power antenna hole?

3. Where do your hood pins go? I don't see and studs for them... they fake?

EDIT: Disregard #1, I'm stupid and didn't notice the new redline at first.

the oem antenna was removed and shaved by the previous owner an made smooth and pretty by the body shop when i got her painted. very observant about the hood pins. lets just say they no longer function. i got the hood used for $150. clearcoat was jacked so i had it painted along with the car. got the hood with the holes in them so i installed some sparco hood pins. well the pins and ring began to rust and it drove me nuts. what also drove me nuts was pulling them everytime to open the hood which began to stress the paint around the pins.

i removed the pins and primed, painted, and epoxied the pieces together including the top part of the studs so it looked real when closed. the hood latch has kept it nice and tight at speeds of 120+. i wouldnt have them at all and have it look totally stock if the holes werent already there. something has to be there unfortunately.
