View Full Version : CATLESS? AJ 01-13-2006, 03:49 AM HEY I HAVE AN 06 ACCORD V6 6-SPEED AND IM LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE EXHAUST. I AM THINKIN OF PUTTING DUAL APEXi n1 MUFFLERS AND REMOVING THE RESONATOR AND THE CAT. WILL I RUIN MY CAR IF I TAKE OFF THE CAT? WHAT PROBLEMS WILL HAPPEN? lightshow 01-13-2006, 04:13 AM mmmm little devious arnt you. its a damn good idea though. no you wont ruin anything on your car. there is that little pesky o2 sensor after your cat that will know immediately that you took it off and will brightly ignite the check engine light in your car. there is a way that can be reprogrammed though. lightshow AJ 01-13-2006, 04:20 AM oh how do i reprogram it. Ive been running a thermal catback for a year now...... i have gotten 0 tickets going full throttle past cops on the other side of the road...... ive gotten a few to do a u turn but never pulled over.... i guess its not speeding when you only do first gear. So it would be more based on your area and how strict the noise ordinance is. And trust me..... my muffer is loud as hell |
