I have a '91 Accord that is black and has some pretty bad oxidation on the roof and a little on the hood. Are there any products out there that can either prevent more oxidation or restore the paint???

RTexasF 02-26-2006, 10:39 AM Without seeing the condition it's all guesswork but I've seen amazing results with Klasse-AIO. local://upfiles/127/C4A5138634EA482FB68BC79E1681AC7B.jpg Maimster 02-26-2006, 11:57 AM So true. My old VW Jetta, (red) went through this. I had a friend buff out the entire car. Then re-seal it and it looked like a million bucks. However it would last like 1 to 2 years then it was buffed again. leckey73 03-05-2006, 08:33 AM So waxing will prevent this from happing that good to know. sexybeast06 03-07-2006, 08:45 PM my bf has the same problem with his 92 prelude. So can anyone tell me in laymens terms what to do because his poor car from the previous owner lived at the beach and the hood looks like it has dry skin..... We also deemed his car "swirls". So Swirls need some major work since we want it to look like a million bucks in all. RTexasF 03-13-2006, 09:44 AM ORIGINAL: sexybeast06 my bf has the same problem with his 92 prelude. I must assume that he has no experience with rotary, wet sanding, or dual action buffers, correct? Take it to some reputable detail shops and ask what they would charge to restore it, if it can be restored. joe592 04-04-2006, 10:45 PM Hi, What does KLASSE do and where do I find it? Thanks, Joe. WheelBrokerAng 04-04-2006, 11:35 PM Clay Magic will make that finish ready to put on a really great polish job.. It's avaiable at autogeek, one of the sponsors on this site. As WB mentioned clay is the 2nd step after a thorough washing, well worth every minute of effort.
