I might be heading over there......lemme know if you are! If some of you guys do, I will def. hop over as well!
finch13 10-21-2008, 10:59 AM I would if it wasn't 400 miles away... and I just drove to Chicago too!
live2rice 10-21-2008, 11:02 AM I win, 800 miles away

i drove 800 for sharkfest...come on...make the trip!
finch13 10-21-2008, 12:55 PM Because that's 2 tanks of gas I don't really want to pay for. If we had a strictly HAF meet I would drive the distance, but we're not.
smaglik 10-21-2008, 01:00 PM i just went through my cc bill for the trip to sharkfest. much, much gas :(

you get 400 miles per tank? that reminds me i get terrible gas mileage.
perhaps you should host one.................near nyc lol
finch13 10-21-2008, 02:17 PM I sure as hell don't get 400 miles to the tank.... I get more like 475-500 miles to the tank... I just factored in some cruise driving and other city driving.
Yes, I'll host one in NYC so you don't have to feed your H22 4 tanks of gas to get in my area. Not! I wish I lived on the coast where pretty much everyone is... no MN love on the interwebz.
live2rice 10-21-2008, 02:24 PM hey its not that bad.............yet, it would take like 5 2/3 tanks to go out and back not factoring driving around while there.
ha..i win..1,141mi.... ofcourse, im here in FL..so haha..and im def not in the mid west sec..LOL..but wish i could also come..
finch13 10-21-2008, 04:13 PM Speaking of driving and Florida... I'm driving from St. Paul, MN to Sanibel Island around New Years, so if any of you guys are going to be around we should meet up.
And all your miles are belong to me... I'm driving 2k miles to get there and 2k back.
live2rice 10-21-2008, 04:44 PM why in the world would you drive, its probably cheaper, and far easier, to fly
finch13 10-21-2008, 04:57 PM Not cheaper... trust me I looked into it. Lowest price was $658/person... at 500 miles to the tank and a maximum mileage of 4500 miles for the trip = 9-10 tanks of gas @ Max $50/tank = $450-$500 in gas TOTAL. Split that between 2 people and you got a $300 bill at the end of the trip. Economical if you ask me, practical not really. We're young and dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
live2rice 10-21-2008, 05:01 PM damn that much? my friend is flying out to cali to pick up a car, although i guess his ticket is just one way and it was only like 2 something
finch13 10-21-2008, 05:05 PM Yeah round trip tickets FTL. My buddy and I are mainly going down for photography reasons and staying with his fam on sanibel island for free... driving is more appealing because we can stop and photograph whatever we want and visit schtuff on the way down.
19Accord97 10-23-2008, 11:54 PM I dont care where you live.
I demand all of you be there. I cant be the only 5th gen! I hope theres some Accords there though....lol The chance for rain is decreasing so it looks like I am going!:D:D:D:D I'll post some pics.
