Hi,

Does anyone know if the 16" wheels from an RSX will fit on a 2001 Accord Coupe V-6? I was looking on ebay and saw a set of RSX 5-Spoke 16" wheels in chrome that would look sweet on my Black Coupe. But I'm not sure if the spacing on the lug pattern is the same and if the offset of both wheels are compatiable.

Has anyone tried RSX wheels on an Accord Coupe? If not, can anyone reccommend a 16" or 17" chrome wheel that looks good on a Black Accord.

Just look to see how many lugs there are. Your accord Has 5.

I dont see why it wouldnt fit.

i know that HMC has changed their setup on wheel bearings over the last few years, so it very well be a bolt pattern fitment issue...i would try to find out the pattern size of your ride, then the pattern size of the RSX...

Thanks for the info guys. I managed to find out that a neighbor has an RSX and measured the distance on their bolt pattern and it is the same! Still don't know about offset, but I really can't imagine that it would be too much difference between them. Anyone know for sure? The ebay seller lists the offset as "45."

If my wife allows me to get them I will post a picture. May have to buy her some "bling-bling" so I can have some of my own.

This is for the record...your 2001 Accord uses a 5 lug 115mm bolt pattern for the V6 engine.
The ACURA RSX (which has great looking stock wheels) has the same bolt pattern as your Accord. The offsets will both work on both cars as long as your Accord has the V6 engine.
I have been putting a lot of 18" wheels on both of those model cars and have also been putting on 18"s , 19"s and 20"s in staggered fitment sizes also (bigger tires on the rear) which gives the cars an Awesome Look and a very stable ride.

Check out a picture of a wheel that would look great on your Accord.

Check the offset etc.

I have a 04 Coupe and my brother has an RSX type S. Our wheels are interchangeable no problem. I'd say they'd fit without a doubt. Make sure you use the tire calculator when selecting rubber.

The offset doesnt play affect with the bolt pattern the offset is the lip that is around the rim like on the inner side ....

I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner Rick, but I just noticed it a minute ago, so here is my answer.

If your car came with the 5 spoke Honda wheel your bolt pattern is 5 x 100mm
If your car came with the 18 spoke Honda wheel your bolt pattern is 5 x115 mm

ANG, are you sure about the Accord bolt pattern? I think it is 5x114.3, not 115 as you state.

yah the 98-02 v6 comes in 5x114.3. so if the rsx rim comes in thats lug pattern it will most likely fit.

Yes I am Positive on the size...V6 engine is what we were talking about I believe...

i wasnt suggesting to get rims from that website. i was just getting it to show poeple that the lug pattern for a 01 v6 is 5x114.3

I know, I was looking at the wheels and they cost more than what I make in a 2 week period

Here is information from me to all doubters of those rims sizes with there bolt patterns. I ve used this site for years now..so please do this for your information...
1st go to www.transwheel.com , In the Retail Sales section - Click on both 2001 or 2005 Honda -search....Then Click on Car Model Accord..then Click on All Sizes and READ* and continue to Scroll down to each wheel and read each one..take note that these Wheels are 115mm bolt patterns...

Please Look Again and this time try clicking on my website. I have 7 dealer 's books and they all show the 5 on 115mm wheels and that is what I order for those Honda Accords in those years for the 100 or so cars that I sell each year for Honda alone..They all fit the cars and I dont have any Come back cars or orders..
