Hi there !
I just found this site , Well i have an old 88 Accord automatic carb that have a rough Iddle and i can't find the problem . The engine shakes, if any of you ever pressed the EGR valve while the engine is running, it seems about to die and shake , thats exactly what it does but not as bad as that, not to turn off the engine (this only happends at iddle ), and if a turn of the AC it gets worse ( the dash and stering wheel shake )
I took the carb out and took it appart cleaned ( 1 of the bellows was with some kinda like grease, got cleaned ) all the jets but still the same, it seemed better after that, but still shaking at iddle.
It seems to me like a vacuum problem but I tried to check all the hoses i can reach and still can't find what the heck is wrong ,
Does any of you had a similar problem or heard of . Thanks for your help .!
BTW i also checked the engine mounts they are all ok. Well the top of the engine is the part that shakes not the bottom.
