View Full Version : panel stuck at door tbopha 05-01-2006, 05:09 PM I've freed the panel around the inside edges, but something is holding the door by the handle. Most likely there is a screw that goes down inside the "hand hold" in the door and has a plastic piece in there that needs to be popped out then the screw removed... can you take some pictures if this doesn't work? tbopha 05-01-2006, 05:48 PM I took some pics but the files are too big to send over this program. Do you have e-mail account beside this one. this one only allows 500k. My pics are 1m and greater. sir_nasty 05-01-2006, 05:49 PM I just PM'd you my e-mail address go ahead and send them there... tbopha 05-01-2006, 05:50 PM arm rest screw is removed and screw by handle. sir_nasty 05-01-2006, 06:06 PM alright I'm guessing that your door handle is the hangup... what you need to do is pull that door handle out slightly and you'll notice two things, one there is a metal piece that goes into the handle (that opens the door) on the inside and is held in place by a clip, remove that and disconnect the power wires going to your door lock switch... I'm almost positive that's what you're fighting... Option 2: that door handle (with the power lock switch) will rotate slightly and slip through the door panel if you like... then lift the panel up/off while sliding it through. local://upfiles/3079/B73502E4F1574F48A3D2DA5CDB2024B5.jpg local://upfiles/3079/9564998DAF36449F8F4770A2747E57F9.jpg |
