I have always put a lower pressure radiator cap on my engine when I get a new vehicle. I usually put a 7 lb. cap and I have never had a radiator leak, heater leak, or split hose. Do any of your do that to your engine?

why would you do that.. you are going to lower the pressure , which will lower the boiling point, easier to overheat..
