View Full Version : "Rockford Fosgate Punch" Speakers Izzy 04-02-2005, 07:37 AM what do people think of them? are they good? i previewed them today and they sounded pretty good, if not the best for their price, but i wanted to know what other people thought about them Thanks remington870_20ga 04-02-2005, 04:28 PM They are pretty decent but if you are looking in that price range ($60 $120) you ought to look at: MB Quart, Kenwood, Infinity, Kicker. Those labels I prefer a little more over Rockfords... not that they are bad though. 2000Ex 04-04-2005, 12:54 AM I am found two 12 square kicker subs in a box with neon and all the graphics for 175. Is this a good price. (While we are on the subject) remington870_20ga 04-04-2005, 02:20 AM What kind of L's are they? How old are they? If they are a year or older dont bite... never believe what people say "Oh I never turned it up".... yea, right that completly kills the point of having subs. 2000Ex 04-05-2005, 02:56 AM They are new and explain the L thing to me please. remington870_20ga 04-05-2005, 02:18 PM L series. Like the Kicker L5 : http://www.bigdogaudio.de/assets/big/L5S12Lweb.jpg And the Kicker L7:http: www.caralarmuk.com/acatalog/L7.GIF And dont forget the recently brought back LEGEND in square forum, the kicker X Solo-Baric : www.caraudiosecurity.com/catalog/images/KICKER-S18X.jpg 2000Ex 04-13-2005, 03:48 AM They are L7 D4's peytonknows 05-05-2005, 09:25 PM dont waste your money on rockford... go with infinity reference 1232w , the best bang for your buck... for sure, wire 300 to each sub and boom. I mean rockford is ok, the subs are so so , the amps are good, but i would go with either infinity reference or infinity kappa series maybe even the kappa perfect, they are awesome remington870_20ga 05-05-2005, 10:12 PM I have fiound that their amps have gone down hill since the mid 90's Evlampius 05-06-2005, 03:16 AM yes Rockford Fosgate is a very good firm, i've just send one amp to my brother down to Israel. It's a good USA quality becoming cheaper because of a cheap chineese competition - but I've heard only good stuff about that firm - Shocker 05-06-2005, 05:43 PM I sell and deal with rockford products all the time. They are very good product for someone who is looking forward to getting a starter system, there p3 subs are the best my friend has a p3001 amp pushing 2 12s and it sounds great.... as entry level speakers there worth the bang for the buck white98 05-09-2005, 03:49 AM they are not bad. (i have two p2's running off a 5002 MP) but i prefer alpine my self. just wating till i get my employe discount on them WheelBrokerAng 05-09-2005, 04:21 AM Hi all... I like the 12's also, cause when they blow they also do make great door stops . Not a pun, just a fact...all 12's (heavy) make great doorstops...:D WheelBroker (just being silly) i drank a thimble of wine...[sm=alcoholic.gif] remington870_20ga 05-09-2005, 02:16 PM Hahahaha! Or great cereal bowls, whichever you prefer. Hell, the JL W 7s make great cereal bowls even when the work! |
