Well, a few weeks ago I saw the ad for the new Sonata and was very surprised to see that it looks like the older Accord!!! What the heck?! Is it just me, or do you guys agree the Accords been stolen?

there's no doubt in my mind that the korean brands are styling their cars after successful japanese models. But that's a pretty blatent rip-off!

you're probably right... the korean brands have stepped up their quality considerably.

actually for the price and what you get, you cannot go wrong V6 power for what an I4 accord goes for? I'm in.........

I did replace the transmission on my 1998 Sonata last fall but I think that was because that year the engine and transmission were still being supplied by Mitsubishi...

And by the way...you copy off of what and is looking good always...don't you???

Good looking cars do sell more....but that seems a bit of an over the top rip off.... Not a bad looking car though! *L*

The Hyundai is a lot better than it was several years ago but I just felt better about buying the Honda knowing its looooong history of unmatched quality. Plus it drove a lot better.

As for look-a-likes, I think the new Chevy Impala also looks a lot like the Accord as well.

I just read in Car & Driver that a fella got a photo ticket in a rental V-6 for 147 MPH!!!!!!!!!! The local newspaper caught wind of it and asked C&D if it was even possible for the car to go that fast.C&D gottheir long term test vehicleup to 144MPH and noted that the area where the fella got the ticket was downhill so the answer was yes. Whoda thought it???

yeah actually the new sonata doesnt look half bad with the factory projectors (be alot better with my HIDs in there) and seriously a V6 for same or even less than a I4 accord and wow 146 mph in a sonata i wouldnt doubt their quality nowadays they seem pretty darn upity to me now
