Not sure how happy you'd be. I love the look of my 19's but love the acceleration and comfort of an 18. Depends on the person. Shocker 05-09-2005, 11:04 PM they might rub if u lower it it deends what u wanna do... jayhova804 05-10-2005, 01:42 AM I dont think id ever go above 18's on an accord to me 19's seem to be pushing it white98 05-10-2005, 09:30 AM i thionk 19's look prefect. donmt know wich ones i want though alot i like and a few i really want to pay for. this is first and formost my busnies card for installs so it need to look pimp over speed. and i am gonna use coil overs and have them hugging very well. i just dont want my ass top sag with like 300 lbs of stufff in the trunk 6thgen 05-10-2005, 02:50 PM Actually they may rub if you don't lower it. Decreased camber gives clearance on the outside of the wheel. white98 05-11-2005, 12:01 AM iwill do the full suspension if i lower it 6thgen 05-11-2005, 11:18 AM ORIGINAL: white98 iwill do the full suspension if i lower it You better or we are not cool! white98 05-12-2005, 09:32 AM i want to get a good set of coilovers/shocks camber kit and some braces. any ideas of the brands i should get? i am not into speed really this is my boom car and i really just want it to look and sound really nice. but i do want a little speed, and handling 6thgen 05-12-2005, 01:25 PM ORIGINAL: white98 i want to get a good set of coilovers/shocks camber kit and some braces. any ideas of the brands i should get? i am not into speed really this is my boom car and i really just want it to look and sound really nice. but i do want a little speed, and handling SPC or Ingalls Camber/ Koni or Tokico shocks/ H&R, Eibach, Tein, Ground Control springs or coilovers/ Cusco, Neuspeed, APR, or Comptech Strut Braces. jayhova804 05-12-2005, 03:58 PM im gonan be going Tein i found the tein basics for 715 shipped which is a full coil over so i wont have to buy struts white98 05-12-2005, 06:43 PM ORIGINAL: jayhova804 im gonan be going Tein i found the tein basics for 715 shipped which is a full coil over so i wont have to buy struts yea but can you replace just the struts or do you have to replace the hole thing themn they start to wear? 6thgen 05-12-2005, 07:29 PM ORIGINAL: white98 ORIGINAL: jayhova804 im gonan be going Tein i found the tein basics for 715 shipped which is a full coil over so i wont have to buy struts yea but can you replace just the struts or do you have to replace the hole thing themn they start to wear? I personally have a full coilover shock combo (A'pex WS), most will tell you that YES you SHOULD rplac the shocks hwen lowering. People have gone without doing so and their shocks held up while others blew. for and small drop , I probabl wouldn't myself...cause I can be cheap sometime, but for 1.5"+ I'd rather replace them. My roommates TL is fine on H&R's but it's like th smallest drop available besides OEM. jayhova804 05-12-2005, 08:07 PM ive know people go years on cars with springs and stock struts and then ive known people go weeks or months if i was to get springs id defiantly go with struts also. white98 05-12-2005, 08:20 PM ORIGINAL: jayhova804 ive know people go years on cars with springs and stock struts and then ive known people go weeks or months if i was to get springs id defiantly go with struts also. yes i want both but when the are all in one can you replace just the strut when it wears out after time or must the hole thing be replaced???? cause if its the hole thing then sleaves make more sense to me 6thgen 05-13-2005, 01:28 PM ORIGINAL: white98 ORIGINAL: jayhova804 ive know people go years on cars with springs and stock struts and then ive known people go weeks or months if i was to get springs id defiantly go with struts also. yes i want both but when the are all in one can you replace just the strut when it wears out after time or must the hole thing be replaced???? cause if its the hole thing then sleaves make more sense to me I've never heard of them blowing honestly. They are alot more durable. They are individual parts list for good manufacturer's such as A'pex, Tein... with them you can replace spring rates, shocks, upper mounts, etc. Make sure you got to authorized dealers if your afraid of this though. I'm not so I got mine cheap and don't worry about it. white98 05-13-2005, 01:37 PM ORIGINAL: 6thgen ORIGINAL: white98 ORIGINAL: jayhova804 ive know people go years on cars with springs and stock struts and then ive known people go weeks or months if i was to get springs id defiantly go with struts also. yes i want both but when the are all in one can you replace just the strut when it wears out after time or must the hole thing be replaced???? cause if its the hole thing then sleaves make more sense to me I've never heard of them blowing honestly.
