actually after Jayhova post I was kinda playing around and timing every job we do , just thought it might be interesting (also any of you who have your own records are welcome to post too)

Honda Prelude 01 -- replaced 4 rotors and brake pads in 2 hours 21 minutes
Toyota Camry 95 -- replaced Timing Belt/Water Pump/ Drivebelts - 4 hours 2 minutes
Chevrolet Lumina 94 - replaced front drivers Axle - 27 minutes ( --- weee that went smooth....)
Toyota Camry 95 - replaced Air filter 1 minute 32 seconds
Toyota Camry 95 - replaced spark plugs 12 minutes.
Dodge neon 04 - rotate and balance 4 tires - 34 minutes

me and my bud putting new clutch in his 85 VW yesterday --- freaking century ..or at least felt that way..

P.S. We continue talking and laughing and drinking coffee while working and we do every part properly like it suppose to be. The timing was kinda funny stuff for ourselves so none of the cars where harmed during timing. Everything was done properly and by the vehicle manufacturers specifections ;)

Me and a friend did a bmw timing belt in about 6-7 hours. sheared off a couple of bolts and had to drill them out, spilt coolant everywhere and forgot to put a piece back on when putting everything back together, had to strip the thing and start again! Should have only taken about 3 hours

not too bad for a first attempt and we were being supervised kinda by the guys dad - a mechanic,

except after all that.... my freind crashed his car on the 3rd corner away from the garage. LOL
