On the top of my Accord, the clearcoat is pretty faded in some spots.. but I've seen some cars where you can actually see it literally PEELING.. while mine just is a milky white area. When it's wet (rain/washing, or even lick my finger and swipe it..) it turns green, the color of the car. Does this mean I could possibly restore it somehow? If it were just worn away to the primer, it wouldnt turn dark green and look as if there's no problem would it?
Any input is appreciated.. it's pretty much the main 'problem area' as far as paint, so it would be awesome if I could somehow restore it.
Also, the roof and hood have scratches that I don't see how they got there, they kind of look like swirl marks you'd get while washing and there's dirt in a sponge, etc.. except they are perfectly consistent, and take up a HUGE area.. looks like very fine sandpaper did it.. but impossible by hand it seems, since it's so huge and perfect.
Any help on that would be great too, I want to get this car looking great.
