Hey I don't know where the transmission dip stick is in my 87 accord, it has made me crazy. I spent like an hour searching for it and can't find it. I even looked in the owner's manual and still can't get my hands on it.

Hi new member..Welcome to the forums..
My trans dip stick (etc) is located in the front of my motor on the drivers side above the transmission, look for yours there. I'ts just a short little stick..

Yes I know it's an automatic. I'm sure that I will find it one day.

On my '87 it is on the front pass side of the transmission approx eight inches DIRECTLY BELOW where the four spark plug wires plug into the distributor. It helps to use a light. It is a screw-on plug similar to those on a power mower crankcase. It is not east to access and when you find it - use care screwing it back on so as not to cross thread it. If you need to add fluid - Wally World sells a long funnel with a narrow tube, (3/8") that will help.

how about you stop at local garage and ask someone to check the transmission fluid?

the dispstick on 87 didnt have the plastic orange clip on top = you're looking for a steel thin (probably rusted) small loop.

P.S. you have a lot of catching up to do , dude!! :D

Ok here's where the owners manual says the transmission dipstick should be, if you see it just copy the image and circle it I guess and reload it.

Ok my mechanic friend finally found it. It was invisible to the human eye because it was completely covered in black grease. It even took him a few minutes.
