I already have an rhb5 turbo (might switch to a t25) saab intercooler, and my work has a dynapak so as soon as I'm done building her a few months from now I'll post hp numbers. JP I am sure you could make the background on the comp then drop it in to a real gauge. remington870_20ga 03-26-2005, 10:20 PM Lol.... alright... Ill keep it on the low down.:D WheelBrokerAng 03-27-2005, 01:40 AM I don't know Patrick, I think I'd rather have a gage with Remmy's super Honda guy on it, cause that's tighter looking than the Bling[sm=bling.gif] What do you think?? WheelBrokerAng remington870_20ga 03-27-2005, 05:03 AM Its the Mighty Mouse... dont forget it... lol! :D habeel 05-12-2005, 11:40 PM theres a lot of talk about horses exceeding 300 odd. but i thought that in an FF car, anything over 250 mangles controlability. surely that makes the car handle badly???? or am i talking pants? 6thgen 05-13-2005, 01:16 PM ORIGINAL: habeel theres a lot of talk about horses exceeding 300 odd. but i thought that in an FF car, anything over 250 mangles controlability. surely that makes the car handle badly???? or am i talking pants? Any thing over 300 is more like unecessary for street driving in a FWD. 250 is fine actually. When they say uncontrollable, that is based on road courses. +300 for drag is fine. 91turboaccord what engine are you building? joshuaaaronalpert 05-28-2005, 01:08 AM Yeah my moms minivan has a turbo system in it, it takes me and my sister half the time to get to soccer practice. flomasta 10-24-2005, 08:40 PM ORIGINAL: joshuaaaronalpert Yeah my moms minivan has a turbo system in it, it takes me and my sister half the time to get to soccer practice. HAHAHAHAH okay?! DVan8504 11-23-2005, 11:08 PM seems likea lot of the turbo kits for accords are for the 4 cylinders, and even those are scarce compared to sports cars because the accord is obviously not a sports car. anyone know of a turbo kit for the 6th gen v6 accords? 6thgen 11-28-2005, 11:13 AM ORIGINAL: DVan8504 seems likea lot of the turbo kits for accords are for the 4 cylinders, and even those are scarce compared to sports cars because the accord is obviously not a sports car. anyone know of a turbo kit for the 6th gen v6 accords? Does not exist, must be custom. Deleted User 01-11-2006, 02:25 PM [Deleted by Admins] cowboy45 01-13-2006, 02:26 PM I am going to purchase a 2nd gen. eclipse turbo (T25) w/ wastegate. I am still looking for setup options but that '91 Accord posted above me looks not too bad, haha. That's definatly what I'm looking to do to my car so 91turboaccord, if you finish your project before me please let me know how it turns out. Thanks. Deleted User 01-13-2006, 08:39 PM [Deleted by Admins] Newdude 01-30-2006, 08:55 PM Man yall are lucky to be gettin those nice numbers well I'm curious I have just been lookin for a 2002 accord lx turbo system but I can't seem to find very many of them [:@] this DIY turbos sound interesting but I am kinda afraid that I will forget one important part and I will have put all that work into it. How hard is it? How many turbo's have ya done before? and if you guys have any ideas for a turbo for my car I am open for suggestions. Deleted User 01-31-2006, 08:12 PM [Deleted by Admins] Newdude 01-31-2006, 09:23 PM so that turbo kits. com 02 accord drag turbo looks good but I was wondering if it would be better to go with the tuner ready one that doesn't have the fuel map or the drag one (which I believe does have one)? And of course price is a factor. Deleted User 02-01-2006, 01:57 PM [Deleted by Admins] 6thgen 02-01-2006, 04:04 PM The Drag is easier to upgrade. You can add EMS, larger injectors, regualtor, and a pump and have a proper setup. All you have to remove is the FMU, old injectors, old pump, and old ECU. Newdude 02-02-2006, 07:43 PM hmmm sounds good so I guess when I get the resources up I'll go with the drag one Thanks yall... |
