changing tranny, 94 accord ex

I have a vtech dohc in my 94 accord ex. Can i use a non-vtech tranny or is that a no-no? There is almost 200k on it and is an automatic trans, is it a bad idea to change it to a 5spd?

IT WILL NOT EFFECT IT. IN ANYWAY. SENSE THE MOTOR IS WAT PUSH'S THE TRANNY.

first of all its vtec not vtech or v-tec or vtekkk. second of all no it doesnt matter.

I think it is a great idea to switch to 5spd but it can be costly.

and unless you swapped the motor its not dohc
