im pretty sure i have asked before, but i have a 94 accord ex, F22B1, with 176,XXX miles on it, would it be ok to boost it, or should i just get a new engine and boost it, i really dont want to get the H22, its too common.

Can't tell you 'cause I can't see the engine from here.

94 with 30,000 miles, burning oil, compression anywhere between 3 & 60 psi, then NO. Don't boost.

94 with 300,000 miles, good compression, not using oil, clean inside, then go ahead.
(it's not about the miles)

its a good running engine, it doesnt burn oil, and it was just worked on, new seals, and gaskets, so i guess there shouldn't be a problem

thanks

first of all, i think you should have posted this on the turbo section.
Second, if the engine is ok, then there should be no problem w/ boosting. my car was @ 120k when i boosted it. i would recommend to do a compression test first and find prices on turbo's and get to know you car and the turbo system setup pretty darn well. then go ahead and get to it. does it have a MT or an AT?
