Default How do I adjust the tilt wheel?
I just purchased a 1989 Accord but without an owner manual.
I want to adjust the steering wheel but am having trouble. There is a pull out knob under the wheel that I assume is for adjustment, but even after pulling it I cant get the wheel to move. I dont want to push/pull too much on the knob as I feel I might do damage.

I'm not familiar with that model so I can't say. Perhaps others will come aboard to assist you.

Assuming that the control for tilt & telescope is located beneath the steering wheel, you pull down until you feel it loosen. Once you have set it to your comfort then push it back up all the way to lock it in.
