Majority of ppl i know who drive scions period.. are of the opposite gender.

True, but you still have to do 1st gear, unless you are dump launching. Slip launching is faster in my car anyway, so I won't be doing much of that. The no-lift-shift feature improves acceleration drastically on a turbo manual because you don't have to blow off the charge between gears. That can be worth almost a half second on a quarter mile!
