2007 Accord: Dash storage cubby - Help!
Preface (please skip to second para for actual problem)
-----------------------------------------------------
My friend and I finally installed the USA-SPEC iPod Adapter in my 2007 Accord. Taking out the storage compartment was a real pain-in-the-rear, because initially we didn't know how to pull that thing out. Now we do, after having to do it 5 or 6 times.
Anyway, now, the door doesn't open, once closed. If we pull the storage cubby out (first pic on this page: http://www.beaufordbuddy.com/ipod_install_5.htm) and try to open the door, it works. But, when we put the cubby back into the dash, the door won't open anymore. If we reach under the cubby and manually release the plastic lever that keeps the door closed, and releases it when pushed down, the door opens just fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, we pulled it out and put it back in .. several times. I think my friend figured out what went wrong. There are 2 flimsy plastic pieces at the top that holds the cubby's top part once its inserted into place, and its broke off on both sides. Looks like we need some superglue magic now. ;(
