another 88-need some feedback
I have an 88 lxi two-door. I've done some things to it, but i want some feedback on what else i should do. I have a 5" exhaust tip with a glass-pack, 14" alloys, stereo system with a 10" kicker competition sub, and that just about it.
I want to move toward doing engine stuff because it has 222K on it. surprising, but it runs so well, it blows me away. i replaced the tranny about 10K ago, it's an auto (i know it sucks). I don't have a lot of money, so doing an engine swap to a vtec isn't really what i can do.
Maybe a cold-air intake and things like that. I attached pictures so you can see it.

I was also considering tinting the tail lights, but don't you have to keep the reflectors visible? I don't know if there are any other legal regulations on that.
You can't see it in the pics, but it desperately needs a new paint job (i showed the good side). Does maaco do a good job? They have a $250 special, but i don't know the details of it. What color do you think would be the best?
