i'm putting a bodykit on my car soon and have a problem i havent been able to figure out. my car being a 96, doesnt have the alternating blinker and corner lamps like the 94 and 95's do. the kit im getting eliminates the bumper lights so I'm not going to have any blinkers... anyone have any ideas how i can make the corner lenses stay on as running lamps but then blink when i hit the signal?

on top of that, i have JDM head lights and corner lamps, meaning the corners only have one bulb and not two like the USDM versions...

i'd REALLY appreciate any help

 

I would say to cut holes in the body kit and put in your stock blinkers. I cut holes in my rear piece and installed my factory side markers. It looks great.

 

i'd rather just figure out a way to make my corner's function like those on the 94 and 95 accords with the alternating signal... im a mechanic so im kinda mad at myself for not being able to really figure this out

by looking at wiring scematics, i think it can work if i get the signal control module from a 94 or 95 CD5... i was just wondering if anyone has ever tried anything like this or been in the same situation

 

How many wires go into your blinker lights? You might figure out a way tosplice them into your corner lamps.

 

The other option is to cut a hole in the back of your side markers and run a bulb in there.....

 

1. there's 2 wires running into the bulb... there would have to besome kind of relay to acheive the function i want

2. the original lenses had two bulbs in them, neither blinked with the bumper signal being that my car is a 96... my jdm lenses only use 1 bulb

 

I would recommend what sirnasty said. Drill a hole in the back of your corner lamps and run the blinker bulb into it.
