DDM HID installation problems?
I recently bought a DDM HID H11 6000k 35w kit for my 2012 Honda Accord Coupe. After making sure the lights worked, I realized that they did not fit into my low beam housing (I spent hours on it, it really just didn't fit). Any reason why this is so? Anyone else have an issue like this with their DDM HID lights on a Honda Accord Coupe? The original light edges were metal while the DDM's were plastic and seemed a bit too bulky to fit.

idk if this would help you but its worth a shot
my friend used to own a 9th gen eclipse and the headlight bulbs were h13
so we ordered ddm hids for his car
when they came in we set about to install the bulbs and found out that they didnt fit
i compared the halogen bulbs with the hid bulb n looked at the headlight housing
on the hid h13 bulb there were i guess you can call them flaps to help turn the bulb that did not let the bulb sit properly with the headlight housing
the flaps had to but cut off so that the bulb would sit properly and also the gasket that came with the hids were to hard and they would not compress enough so i had to use the gasket from the halogen bulbs and then the bulbs fit properly
the flaps that im talking abt are the semi circle shaped things that can be seen in the attached image
