Got guages today, what you think

RE: Got guages today, what you think
I've been contemplating an LED swap too. I'm pretty comfortable soldering SMD LEDs which is pretty hard and you need a good soldering station. The older accords you can just use regular LEDs. Newer car's with LED backlight use SMD LEDs.

LOL, you guys are funny ..... I'm going to have a guy do the LED's in the clusters ...... I could probably do it, but I-m going with experience on this one.

Those gauges look awesome, where did you purchase those Gauges from??
the last pic is them on, they use a VERY SMALL amout of voltage, which is why i kept testing lights on the dash since they are very small, and that one was easy to soilder, and both those bulbs were out so it was easy to do
all i know is they are SOOOO bright(are adjustable) on the highest setting, and its drawing from a socket that barely lit a bulb, its gotta work like neons, casue there is a trransformer that buzzes like a neon on when they are on
obviously factory the needles are very close to the pod, so i had to pull them out just a tiny bit so they had free range of motion again

i got the same ones in my 95, they look nice day and night, and idk about your set, but mine came with a dimmer, so i can basically shut them off, blind myself, or put it somewhere in between, ive had mine for a while now and no problems, how are yours holding up?
