Default Grilles...

Has anyone ever added a grille mesh to the front of their Accord? Do they come stock, or do you need to cut them? How easy is it to cut and install? And for how much do they go for?

I have seen them in JcWhit and at Advanced. But i want to know how difficult they are to work with

Yeah, they arent easy to work with at all, unless you had the right kind of tools, which i dont. You get a sheet, that you have to cut urself. It isnt too expensive, but im hoping i can find some tht i dont have to cut, just put/install in the car as it comes. Im not a handy-mandy so tht kind of stuff for me is hard to do.

Oh i know. I posted it for anyone else intrested. Since i had no other replies, i replied to it myself after doin some research on the product.
I also found out some are "universal fit" but you still have to trim them a little to fit right.

When I got my type r grill I had to trim the mesh a little.

We have a pair of tin snips and they worked really well. The short length of the blade allows you to cut a little each time so you can curve and what not.

Why not just replace your factory grill? It will look better than having mesh over it because then you can still see through it. Check out my photos of my car and you'll see the grill. I think its one of the best looking upgrades. It makes the car not so old/boring looking.

$35 on eBay, 3 bolts to the car, 4 bolts for the mesh to the plastic grill, barely any trimming and your good. Super easy, you could do it no problem.

It does look nice....the grilles on eBay that claim to be "Mugen" and "Type R" don't even have the emblem on the grille!

Until they sell one with an emblem...I ain't buying.

To get a new grill sounds more expensive. And i liked how the mesh looked, its like a gray fence inside my dark hood. And to get a new grill would i have to remove the bumper?

On your grill i dont like the Type R logo, im trying to remove all the lettering to the car, and wen i bought it the front H had been taken off already.
