You probably could .... pre-turbo. I never got the I/H/E stuff because I didn't know if I was going to stay NA or not .... glad I waited. One problem with the tC is that it can't put it's stock power down. The open diff is a big part of it. I can put down a little more power than when I got it because of the poly engine & tranny mounts, ETD and Proxy4's.

I still think it would be a good race. Start on a roll and I'm out still!!!

Well, I have everything but injectors and instrumentation. It'll probably go in in the spring ..... I want to do the suspension first. Also, I think my 5th gear synchro is messed up .... hopefully I can convince Yoda to swap out the tranny.

As long as you have the Force, Yoda will do anything you want. But seriously, is the symptom noticeable by a mechanic? If it is and they can tell, I'm sure they will fix it for you.

Not always .... at first I wasn-t sure if it was the tranny or me learning to drive manual, but I had it checked out when I first got it ..... since then, I can make it have a problem most of the time either by doing a quick 4 to 5 shift or double-clutching 4 to 5.

The weird thing is, 5th doesn't have to be engaged ..... I can feel the gears mesh holding the clutch in and just pushing the stick into 5th when I can get it to do it. The biggest problem is that it's not consistant. I plan to take a test drive with them tomorrow after work.

A friend on CStC has the same issue on his 3rd gear ..... seems fairly common.
