help taking off 92 headlights for repaint

Default help taking off 92 headlights for repaint

i am repainting my 1992 accord and need to take the front bumper off to paint but it is held in place with clips under the headlights. any diy things for taking out the headlights especially with pics if you have them? there is a screw in the bottom or the back that i cannot find that is holding it in place. help please!

Bumper should come off with the headlights in, as this was the ONLY way to get the headlights out on my 95.

Did you get the 4 large bolts that hold the bumper to the frame? You could access them through the bumper turn signal on my 95.

Finch is referring to the actual metal bumper rail itself, not the plastic bumper cover.

The way he described is how it has to be done. And when you reassemble it just leave the bolts under the headlights out so you can take the bumper cover off without the hassle next time.
