i just want to say, i'm jealous, cuz you have the 08 coupe! that car is sexy! post up pics! and IMO about the HIDS..300 is way to much, you can get quality ones for way cheaper, like ddmtuning, as mentioned already..and im pretty sure, any garage can install them, but if you can do them yourself =)

Thanks guys, I'll post some pics up soon. The only mods I have right now are tinted windows, which I'm thinking about taking off because they gave me a ticket for it the other day which is kinda bull.... I was thinking about going for 10000k but I think thats just too blue for me although it looked great on a black 08 coupe I saw at cardomain.com. I think the 6000k are a perfect match for my car, I like the blue hint 6000k's give off and I think it would go perfect with the blue belize pearl.

im sorry, what i meant to say is that I'm going for 8000k's. My bro got apexcone 8000k's for his Z06 and it looks great. I love 6000k's but I think they look too oem for me unless although they do produce more lumens or light output than 8000k's. I think the blue hint the 8000k's produce will look good with my blue coupe.

the farther you get from 4300k, the less efficient the bulb will be at turning wattage to lumens. In return, the inefficiencies give you a little more heat.

Craigslist in the Los Angeles section has JDM and Pilot HID's from 4300K to 10000K for $120-$150 a set (all bulb types). Like Falkore24 says, the 4300k is OEM color width, the higher you go up the scale, the blue'r the hue and the more likely you will get busted by cops and also a less effective beam the higher you go.

yup, the 8000k and up, is just for looks, performance is whack; i'd say 6000k is the highest you can go without sacrificing light output..but i say 4300-5000k is good IMO

I have ebays ones the slim design both for my high and low. The low ws easy, highbeam was a bit hard. I only play 160 for both of them. I guess the only thing about the good name brands ones are they dont glare as much. Got pull over 4 times for my 8000k now id got some projector headlights waiting for them to install. Hoping the blub will fit. And if you want somethnig very cool i have 3000K for high and when it foggy i can see eveything it cool! but yeah if you drive on the highway becareful you will get flash all the time

i have an 06 sedan and got the McCulloch 8000k kit for 210 with shipping. i couldn't be happier. deff go withthe 8000k they look real nice, haven't had any problems with cops so far ::knock on wood:: they look real nice + they increased how far i could see over the stock bulbs.

and you can NO DOUBT install them yourself. i installed them with a friend when we were both 17. direct plug and play, hardest thing was deciding where to put the ballasts lol

What would you guys recommend for a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe. I'm tired of having these factory faded headlights.
Its time to upgrade, but I'm not to sure of what to get.

Any help will be appreciated.
