Let me know what you think? By the way, I still haven't figured out how to get the seat beat seperate from the plastic pillar or what to do to change the color. So if you have any ideas, definately let me know.

Worst case scenario I would think you could dunk the whole assembly in the dye just be sure to dry any metal parts really well once you're done. Since you're painting the Side trim anyway it's not going to hurt as long as you don't get any rust.

I've never personally pulled one of those pillars off.... can you give us a shot of the backside or whatever it is that's holding the seat belt to it?

Hey homie heres a pic of what I did with my interior door panels. Just to give you a hint of what they might look like. I painted my trim blue though to match the exterior color.

RE: Interior project (Pics inside)
if you are talking about the interior door handles I'm not sure that it's easily dis-assembled, I think you'd have better luck with either taping it off or wrap it in saran wrap.

Yea i had to use that blue painters tape to mask off the chrome part of the door handle. I recommend using a brush to get inside that gap where the screw is. You might need to if you handle is similar to mine which i dont know...
