If you remove the pins there will likelybe a line remaining because the paint beneath the stripe will be a slightlydifferent shade than the rest. This will have to be machine polished if you choose not to renew the pinstripe. I think silver on the decal.

Personally, I'd take the pin stripe off. I would assume that it woud kind of be like de-badging. Removal of the stripe would require paint/finish care.

I have a silver accord.. i took off the pinstripes... it was really by accident i was powerwashing it and they started peeling off so i just kept hitting them and got them all off... This was the easy part. The glue was still on the car so i used some rubbing compound and someREAL elbow grease and got it all off... looks great now.. the pinstripes just look soo factory to me. But now i cant even tell they were on there !!
