You also have to find out what kind of warranty they cover. Whether it covers just the tint, or the labor as well. Also, what they charge to legalize your tint if you should happen to get ticketed, or unable to pass inspection anywhere.
Also, how it is in Louisiana, a truck, SUV, or sport-vehicle can be tinted as dark as you want, but a car can't. A car can only be 50% on the front seat, 35% back seat, and 20% for the back window. A cop is going to really notice a vehicle that's 20% or 10% all the way around, and be a dick about it and hand you a ticket for it. Also, getting your car inspected will become a problem as most places wont pass you with illegal tint, which will probably mean going to a shady inspector and giving him a little extra on the side.
My suggestion is to get 35% on the front seat, and 20% in the back seat, 10% the back window. If they notice a difference in the tint between the front seat and the back seat, they'll be less likely to target you for illegal tint.
If you look at my car, I had 35% on the front seat, and 20% on the back seat and rear window.

Double limo (2 X 5%) all around and 35% on the windshield =]
Double limo (2 X 5%) all around and 35% on the windshield =]
So you have 2 layers of 5%? So the first layer brings down light transmission to 5% visible and then 5% of that 5%? So you have .25% tint? Why?
