Thumbs up Type-R 03-07 Glow Gauges

Hi, I'm trying to see if this gauge face will fit my car.

TYPE-R RED 2003-07 HONDA ACCORD GLOW GAUGES AUTO 160MPH | eBay

I really want this gauge face. It is made for an automatic accord but I have a manuel accord. Is it possible to put this on a manuel accord and possibly cover the gears and holes(electric tape)?

Thanks

You are posting in the wrong section.

What is a Manuel Accord? Is that the name of the guy you bought it from?

I think covering the Gear Indicator with electrical tape would look terrible.

Do you understand that you have to pull off all the needles from the gauges to install this overlay? If you are lucky enough not to break any of your gauges getting them all back to where they are supposed to go is very difficult.

Finally, may I have some of your money since igetnomoney?

A manuel accord is a manuel transmission honda accord. DUH.......

I don't think you'll be able to see it because it's black and not very visible. You'll only be able to see it in the day time and it won't make that much of a difference to me.

First off, i have a friend that just got his diploma in auto mechanics so he has a lot of experience in doing this ****. He has never messed up on my car and he definitely wouldn't make a mistake with the needles.

So nobody answered my question. Would I be able to use this gauge face on my manuel TRANSMISSION accord?

And even if I didn't put electric tape. I don't mind it, it doesn't bother me at all. I just need to know if they are compatible.

I think you mean manual transmission. Manuel is typically a Hispanic male.

What does your friend with a diploma in auto mechanics say?

Also you did not answer my question either.

Besides looking really stupid, yes the Auto cluster will work on your manual transmission cluster.

I didn't ask him yet. I wanted to see what you guys would think.

No, you may not have some of my money. I just spend almost 3 grand on my accord.

I'm happy

You should wait until a overlay comes out for your transmission.

I am serious, I am a pretty good mechanic. I can change out motors and transmissions.

I install complex stereo systems, auto starts, remote starts...I will not install another overlay that requires removing the needles. Not only is it hard, you are always just a slight tug away from pulling the stem out with the needle. Once the stem comes out you need a new cluster. The risks are not worth it.

Now I once installed an indiglow overlay kit in a 93 Eclipse.

It was a great install, You were able to slide each overlay over the needles without removing them, that was a good kit.

What if an overlay doesn't come out for manual transmission. This is the only overlay out right now.

I can do whatever I want and my friend is professional so he can definitely do it

Okay? What does that have to do with me?
