i got a buddy that has tinted caps that fit over the head lights. he has to remove them at night to get enough light out. it looks cool but isnt functional. id do caps like him and not permanent till you know you want it. you just have to weigh out the pros and cons.

Yes it looks good for shows, but will give you mostly no light at night...

It is illegal in many states. Better check your laws or you'll be paying to have it removed AND paying a ticket.

Its better to go with aftermarket lights that are clear with black on the inside to prevent from not getting enought light out and also getting a ticket. Becasue if cops see that your lights aren't bright enough it stands out! Look into getting some like mine.

Yeah, you would jeopardize safety for looking cool. Unless you don't do much riding at night. Maybe in town riding would be fine because of the streetlights. Some states don't even allow the brake light covers.

I looked at that site and the HID and 5% shade cover, it may seem good enough and do not take away from your light. may try too. BigRod1300 .. losing side reflectance of light do you mod? live where deer tend to pop out of the ditch and drive, good to have the peripheral light.

As a professional driver ( by trade) i'd suggest not...
Us truckers have enough things to watch out for... you trying to pass someone and we can't see you would make for a big mess...
