Default 01" Audio System Code (6-disk)

I was having troubles with my head-lights the other day so to fix it i had to disconnect the battery and tamper with the wiring... In doing so I was successful in getting my head-light to work but now the 6-disk CD changer is requesting a 5-digit pass code for functionality. Does anyone know if maybe the dealer can help me or if there is a number on the audio system itself that would be my pass code???

Should have came with the car. Check your documentation. You can call the dealer too. You'll need your registration to prove ownership, and the other numbers on the side of the radio.

Also, it would help if you posted what you drove. I am assuming this is a 7th gen from the cd changer.

[8D]Problem Solved![8D]Car Model [2001, Honda Accord, Ex, V6, 4Dr]

I found a laminated number on the inside of my glove compartment that is a reference number for the security system and it's components, I.E. the Audio System. With that number I called my dealer and they looked up theAudio codethrough the car's original licensed numbers. They gave me the code and I'm up and working again.

thx for trying to help though everyone[sm=smiley20.gif]
