Default 06 Navi PC CARD use

I'm curious if anyone has made use of the PC Card slot on the 06 Accord navi unit. It seems that it might be usable for playing mp3 and wma music files with an adapter and flash memory. Has anyone done this or tried it?

Any other uses for it?

Manuals all simply say it is for factory use.

Thoughts?

my guess would be that dealers use it to load/check info from your navi... If that's the case I doubt it would read any pc cards on it's own because most of those require drivers to be installed.... don't know for sure though I don't have one *L* just an educated guess..

I am very interested in this issue, so far I have found a troubleshooting guide and gotten a lexar PC to compact flash card but have no luck, my nav won't even shut it's door when the card is in.

Got it figured out. First try I used a Lexar PCMCIA card that takes Compact Flash memory and I couldn't even get the door to shut. I tried with an off brand CF card and a Sandisk Ultra II.
Good luck today though, with a Dazzle brand PC card, $20 from Comp USA. I also gather a cheap Viking card ($7-8) works well. There is a troubleshooting guide online http://www.collegehillshonda.com/art...icle_438.shtml
I have a Civic and the guide is for Civic but I thought I would share as it appears the Nav system is identical.
