Default 2006 Accord Stereo Question

I have: 2006 Special Edition Accord

On the stereo head unit there is an AUX button. I assume I can attach some sort of device like an ipod. But I cannot see or find any external audio ports. Is there a way I can tap into the back of the radio, is there an open port for the AUX function? If so what's the easiest way of getting to it?

Tired of streaming XM over FM and would like to connect Ipod too.

I'm not a car guy, so I have no clue.

Thanks.

did you look in the glove box or center console for an aux input jack (3.5mm)?

Wheel,

Will do thank you.

Keep,

Yeah I looked at all of the typical locations, nothing.

Do you think there is an expansion port in the back? I have seen pictures of XM installed by the dealership and it has to plug into something unless they splice some cables, right?

there should be an empty harness plug on the back if your radio has the option but no connectors.

Pac-Audio and USAspec have interfaces that will give you a working aux input.
