Question 2010 Accord LX-P Signal Relay??

Hello there,
So here is what the situation is. I have changed out all my turn signals with LED bulbs. As most of you know, when you do that it will cause “hyper flash” when you use your turn signals, but when you put on your hazards they will flash at normal intervals. What most of the websites and dealers for these LED bulbs will tell you is; you have to install resistors at each bulb location. These resistors are rather large and will heat up so must be mounted to metal. I do not prefer to do that.

Well I was doing some research and on another accord forum a member came up with a smart solution for his 2007 accord. What they did was buy an aftermarket turn signal/hazard relay and then took out the stock resistor and then install a 12ohm/5% resistor in the aftermarket relay. This will allow the lights to blink at the normal intervals. Here is a link to the DIY that the member did. http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=80648

So my question is; I am trying to find a similar relay for my 2010 accord lx-p and try to do the same procedure. Does anyone know where I can find this resistor? Whether it is in the fuse box on the driver side or the one in the engine compartment or where ever? I plan on using that part number to purchase another relay to “experiment” on.

Thank you again for your time and I look forward to your responses.

The 2008-2012 Accords (8th generation) are not the same as 2003-2007 Accords (7th generation).

The 8th generation Accord does not have a turn signal/hazard relay. The turn signal/hazard flasher circuit is built into the the driver’s multiplex integrated control unit (MICU). The driver's MICU is built into the under-dash fuse/relay box.
