Default 9006 Silverstar ULTRA

Hey guys...

I'm thinking about getting the Silverstar Ultra for my headlight bulbs...for the low beams. I heard and saw some pictures...that it's one of the brighest ones out...beside the HID....

Any ratings....additional pictures.....or reviews?

Thanks

HUGE difference over stock, not as bright as true HID but 1/4 the cost. Do it, just do it and you'll be happy

go w. the ultras... i would suggest putting your cars specs in your signature, this way we would know a little about it. on my 04 sedan the silverstar's barely improved the brightness over my stock bulbs... go with the silverstar ultra's... wish i did. oh and my silverstars are about 5 months old now so hard to tell how long they last.

Hey...

I wanted to get the Ultra one... I don't really like the regular silverstars..... But the main concern is the life of the bulbs.... I read from other forums that these tend to burn out really quick....

I have an 05 accord coupe

They produce a bit more heat than regular bulbs to produce the increased light. so any little bit of oil from our fingers can affect the bulb alot more. so as long as you wear gloves and not touch the glass they SHOULD last longer

had them in my car before switching to hids. But I work at pepboys and so people have a lot of problems with them have had a few customers that go through them monthly. So from my experience they definitly burn out quicker

a lot of customers have the same problem with the regular silverstars and i make sure they are installed right after a few comebacks

most cars with problems of lights burning out that are using stock wattage bulbs kill lights because of a leak in the housing.
