Default Accord SIR CD6 - Hazards Stuck On

Hey there guys,

I'm going to be bidding on and hopefully winning an Accord SIR this Thursday. The only problem with it is the hazards are stuck on. What fuse would I pull so I can drive home without them being constantly lit up?

Will sort them out properly when I get home.

Also do you think 244,000 KM is too high for an H22A engine? The car looks in great condition cosmetically so hopefully this reflects the engine.

the car will come with a manual. look in the manual and it will tell you which fuse it is. if you dont know whether or not it will come with a manual you will need to give us the year of the car as well.

Well, if it is an H22A then it is pre-1997. Awesome find, awesome motor. I don't remember if it has a timing belt or chain, but verify and probably just replace it. That is the Achilles heel of any Honda. Don't remember if it will seize or free spin when the timing belt/chain is lost.

As far as the hazards, could be many things since you don't know what the previous owner did. The hazard button may have failed, but you can't disconnect it without losing your turn signals, so no pulling fuses.

You could arrive with a new hazard button and try that first thing.
