i was wondering if i buy a 1000 watts amps, do i need this
do i need this 1000 watts wire for my amps
or can i just get this
please help me out

Second link doesn't work. If your only setting up one amp you don't need the monster cable set. Any 4ga amp kit will be fine, the thiner the little copper wires inside the cable the better. If you plan on hooking up more then one amp you may want to just go ahead and get 2ga or even 0ga cables.

$25 to $50 locally and online just have to do some searching.

What kind of amp is it? Unless it's a very good brand, I bet it doesn't really output 1000W all the time, hence requiring the need of those Monster cables. I have a Sony Xplod 1200W amp. Although it says 1200W, it doesn't always output 1200W constantly. So t00fat is right, any amp wiring kit will do. Especially since it's only one amp.

how much wattage does your amp got? don't get be fooled by the "1000watt" that they claim. better check the gauge rating of the power and ground wire. you should need at least guage 6. gauge4 is the best you you need to power a 1000w amp.
