Default black plastic cap on rear deck?

There's a thin black plastic 'cap' on the rear deck that's about 4" around and about 4" deep. It didn't pop off easily, and I didn't want to force it off, but I was wondering what it's covering. I need to do some baffles on the rear deck and that thing is really in the way.

Does anyone know what it's covering?

sorry, i've never heard it called anything else. it's that big flat piece of metal behind the back seats that the factory 6x9's are attached to.

i think it might be something to do with the child seat stuff, but i have no clue. It also had SEA or SA*something* written on it...I don't remember.
