Has anyone added a Bluetooth system for their phone that is aftermarket ?

Into what? You can buy decks with bluetooth support, but for the stock radio not so sure.

I think he means like that mirror that has bluetooth and a screen built into it, and there some unit that just clip to the visor. I would imagine the sound quality would be horrible from those units. If you want it to sound half good I would get a HU that has bluetooth capability.

I read that some are available to hook up to your stock stereo system .

^ I don't know how the bluetooth gadget would be able to interupt the audio feed to the speakers...

Maybe he is referring to SYNC.that ford offers.

There is no such thing for the stock HU. The stock HU has to come with bluetooth, which I believe is only an option now in the 8th gen. I know my dads 09 ridgeline has bluetooth.

EDIT: If you have an 8th gen it may be possible to add the bluetooth, but I was under the impression it only came with navi. Could be wrong though.
