Default Dash Monitor replacement

Hey guys,

I have a '12 Accord SE and am going to put in an aftermarket stereo, Pioneer Avic-z130bt.
I want to replace the screen with a 6" monitor. Anyone know where I can get the housing for the screen? Or have the actual part #? Also any recommendations on a brand of monitor to use? I`m thinking of eliminating my rear view mirror and running a backup cam to it permenantly, or mirroring the head unit screen. Which do you think would look better?

Just found out about the Power Acoustik P-81ACRD. Anyone use it?
Says its compatible with 08-11. Will it work with the 12' SE? if so, could I salvage my USB connector in the center console?

Take pics of whatever you do.

Power Acoustik has a short life span...like a year or two. It is affordable for a reason.

You can reuse the USB connector if you can solder and read a pin-out diagram.

They boys on another forum have tried the power acoustik system and documented it.
Everyone seems to be happy with it

That thread is only 3 months old. Wait 2 years and see how happy they are.
Also the Navi maps look horrible -- IMO
