Default in dash navi for 2004 accord ex-l

so i've spent all morning speaking to crutchfield and honda about adding a navi to the car. but both of their responses was that it's not possible.

first was crutchfield, i wanted to be able to keep the use of the dual climate control, and the controls on the steering wheel, and was even willing to give that up as long as i can get a navi in the car, they said there was nothing that would fit with the system/head unit, and that there's actually no models at all that would work with the car.

then i tried my luck with honda, thinking that since they do make accords with stock navi, maybe i can just add a stock navi, well they told me that the only way to get a navi in the car is if i bought it with the car, theres no way of adding it on as an accessory. because all the wiring and the head unit is different than that of a non navi car

is there anyone that has an aftermarketnavi in their car that can tell me what to do. crutchfield and honda keeps suggesting a tom tom, but i want something in dash. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Oh, but Honda lies. You CAN add an OEM navi to a vehicle that didn't have it installed at the factory.... check my website out... I'm in the middle of the project and will be posting a part's list for everything you need within the next couple of weeks. (www.geekeng.com)
