Question Factory Wiring Harness

I have a question about the factory wiring for a 94 Accord EX. I am trying to connect an after market stereo but I have hit a snag in the process. On the diagram for the wiring it says there should be a blue & red wire w/ green stripe for the positive front left and right speaker respectively. I do not have these wire combinations in my car. Could someone with experience with the wiring on the factory end please help me. Thanx

buy a harness. dont splice into factory wiring. dont cut the factory harness. if you already have match the colors back up solder and heat shrink and buy a harness. they are 15 dollars. save you time and the person who has the car after you a lot of headache.

Question

The factory harness part was already cut out. I purchased it like that but did not know until I took radio out. Now I'm trying to connect the system and need to know the correct wiring.

gotcha. then you understand what I was saying about saving some headache. where did you find the diagram? I will look and see if I can find another.

all the ones I find show the same color code as you see. pull the door panel on one side and see what color the wires are going into the speaker.

I found it on every site that had a diagram. The biggest problem I had is for the positve connection for the front speaker wires. The diagram says there should be a blue (left front ) and red ( right front ) wire with a green stripe, respectively, but I don't have these wires in my wiring.

I would just buy an OEM harness for your car, color match it, and save yourself and most of all the person after you the headache. Ive messed with one to many cars that had the harness cut out and its extremely ignorant and annoying for someone to do.

you can find these cars in salvage yards, remove the harness, and replace.

for speaker wire colors, you can just look at your speakers.

unless your car had a factory amp...
