Yea i definately want It to look oem. So is it possible to put these tweeters in in place of my stock ones on the dashboard so I won't have to do any extra wiring etc and so that everything still looks stock?

I really hope you listened to those speakers before you got them. Those are about the harshest speakers I can think of. Infinity is not as great as they think they are, I would be surprised if any serious audio guy had anything positive to say about references, or infinities in general. There is info on installs all over here and the net. Stock location for the tweeters would be the cleanest, and the A pillars is usually best for staging, But that really depends on so many other factors. I have my crossovers in that pocket molded into the door panel. Whatever you do mount them on the inside of the door panel, there is water and humidity between the door and door panel.

Sorry bud but you can't cut any corners. Anyways you have to run your own wires to the tweet because of the crossover. And yes with basic modification skills and common sense you can mount the tweeter in the stock location.

I listened to them at futurshop and to me for some reason when compared to the other speakers, the other speakers sounded dull... Maybe the infinities were just harsh your probably right but i liked them. I also purchased the infinity kappa 6x9s i loved those right away when i heard them.

Good for you for listening to them before buying. Infinity is the brightest speaker on the market but that really only a problem if you listen to heavy metal. Guitars tend to sound like kazoos.

If youre into jazz or rap then theyll work fine. But regardless you will want to attenuate those tweeters so that crossover has a -3 attenuator on it and youre gonna want to use it.

I know I would set them to -3db, especially if they arn't going in the stock location. I have my tweets on the A-pillar and have mine set to -3db because they are so close.

if they have tweaters on the 6 by 9s the top wont fit back on it like oem, so you will have to drill them deep or saw around so they fit flush
