Installing rear speakers in a 2013 Sport
Does anyone have a diagram of how to install new rear speakers in the back deck of a 2013 Accord Sport. Can I just remove the grills of each or do I need to remove the whole rear deck. I tried putting a screw driver between the deck and the edge of the grill and I'm not sure it will pry off. Thanks for any help.

If its anything like the coupe, to access the rear speakers you will need to remove the rear deck. In the coupe to remove the rear deck, the c pillar covers need to be removed. On the coupe there are hooks that have one screw that needs to be removed, everything else should pop out via clips. The rear deck is one solid piece, the grills are not removable from what I can see.

sorry so late to this.
gotta take out the rear deck. its a pita, held in with those green clips that are hard to pop out. but it does pop out. watch tho, ur 3rd brake light is connected to deck via a plug. and the seat side parts need to be taken out via a 10mm bolt located semi under the seat itself. lift up the seat at the edges and youll see it.
after deck is off 1 screw is holding stock speakers in.

This is very interesting, please let us know if there were any improvement in the sound quality. I just bought a 2014 Sport last month and one little thing I would like to do is to improve the sound system. Thinking more of adding a 8" or 10" subwoofer or maybe a bazooka tube (which I used before).
Please keep us updated and if you have pictures that would be awesome!!!
Thank you!
